Very nicely done. Mounted older Kahles Helia –Super ,variable scope 2.3 x 7 reticule 4. Action has been lightly engraved and near the barrel root there has been nicely engraved; one Wild Boar and one Roe Buck. Action has been case hardened. STEYR 1893 , Model 1892 .Chambered in 375 FLANGED NITRO EXPRESS 2 3/4 ". The .375 Flanged Nitro Express (2 ½), as it is correctly called, was introduced in 1899 as a black powder cartridge for use in single shots and double rifles Dimensionally, it is a slightly longer version of the .303 straight case. The .405 Winchester shares the same basic brass; so the .375 Nitro Express, could also be viewed as the .405 Winchester shortened slightly, and necked to .375! At one point the round was even chambered by B.S.A. in their sporter series Lee-Enfield Rifles.

Carrying a Zeiss Diavari C 3 – 9 x 36 , A8 reticle with Eaw mount . The rifle and scope were purchased new in July 1990 from Frankonia Jagd in Wuerzburg Germany. The rifle has been well maintained and cared for. It is in excellent condition, with only minor wear marks. The rifle formed part of a larger gun collection and has seen limited use. A exact round count is not available. The rifle is equipped with a adjustable direct / hair trigger option. The hair trigger is set by moving the trigger tongue forward. The advantage of the forward set pattern over two separate triggers is that the shooting hand can securely grip while the trigger finger remains in the correct position relative to the trigger tongue. The Monte Carlo style stock is beautifully satin finished European walnut with finely cut checkering. The pistol grip is capped and the Schnabel fore-end is finish in Rosewood. The Zeiss scope attaches via a swing mount that allows for easy disassembly for travel and cleaning. The gold plated trigger and marmorized bolt add to the look and feel of European elegance of this rifle.
